An excellent reference August 21, 2007 James D. Crabtree (Fayetteville, NC USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This comes in handy sometimes in my current job. There are a few things I wish it had that it does not (like world rank equivelents) but you can't have everything.
A Must Have! May 14, 2007 J. Attanasio 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful resource if you are in the position of having international VIP guests or if you have occasion to travel internationally and associate with high level dignataries. It provides a lot of detailed information that is often overlooked.
Good content, poorly organized November 27, 2006 A reader (Chicago, IL USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The information in this book is indispensable for anyone communicating or doing business with government officials in the U.S. and abroad. However, I must say that it needs some serious editorial attention. As this is a reference book, I find it incomprehensible that there is no index for the section on titles and forms of address. For example, if I am preparing a letter to a foreign cabinet minister, I should be able to easily find the page number rather than flip through almost 200 pages of listings. I recommend this book because there apparently are no alternatives on the market. However, if the publisher is reading this, PLEASE consider a more comprehensive table of contents for the next edition.

A "must have" book for people working with international organizations and high level military people. An excellent guide for everything from addressing VIPs to preparing invitations.
