Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
A book with beautifully printed color images, specifications, and history of SSN-23 JIMMY CARTER, a Seawolf-class nuclear submarine that is equipped for intelligence and special forces operations. A wonderful keepsake for anyone who loves submarines, spy stuff, the Navy, nuclear propulsion, or Jimmy Carter.

1 out of 5 stars A Major Disappointment   March 4, 2008

I could not believe what I received for $17.36. The item description indicated that it was a short picture book; therefore, given the price, I expected high quality illustrations. Instead, they were extremely poor in both choice of subject and reproduction quality. There were very few pictures of the submarine itself, and the majority of the book contained various types of random publicity photos featuring ex-president Jimmy Carter and other ancillary material.

If you are interested in the actual submarine or a quality publication, I do not recommend this book.
