Christine Feehan is amazing October 14, 2008 Betty Naji Amireh 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the sixth book I've read for Ms. Feehan, the "Drake Sisters" series is really enthralling, I can't wait for book number 7!
Joley and Ilya fall flat October 12, 2008 bijou2311 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Joley is the wild child Drake sister and Ilya is the rough edged man who is determined to tame her. Unfortunately we see none of Joley's earlier spunk and character. The Joley in this story is bland and uninteresting as the doormat she acts like most of the time. Ilya seems hard and way too secretive. We learn next to nothing about him or his past. In addition the plot is weak in my opinion and not well tied together. I just felt like this story lacked the spirit or the energy the earlier books in this series have. I have to say that the first few books in this series were terrific, but they have gone down hill - first Hannah's story and now Joley's. I really hope that Elle's story will be better.
Turbulent Sea October 5, 2008 Renia Cox (Sydney Australia) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As a Chritine Feehan fan, I guess I am a little biased. Loved the book, loved all the characters and the story was great. Whilst I tend to love the Dark Series the best, the story of the seven sisters and their partners is a enjoyable read, the men are always "hot" and so is the romance. Keep them coming. Renart
Amazing October 5, 2008 SummerMaple (Columbus, OH USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
For those who have read the last 5 books in the series, this picks right up where the last left off. It brings Joley and Ilya together against the background of Joley finishing her latest tour and has all the twists and turns of Alexandr's courting of Abby.
A Spectacular Thrill & Mystery October 3, 2008 Shaye 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I found this story to be as fascinating as all of the others and just as exciting. I loved everything it had to offer and even what it did not. It missed that one star because I was hoping for Joley to user her powers more and for Ilya to let more be known about himself and his background. I do hope that in the other books that they can both be able to do this.
