Philadelphia Experiment Chronicles

Much of the information in this book is fascinating. Time travel, government funded time machines, ...75 million computers in the 1950's, stolen gold bullion from Nazi germany, teleportation, time dimensions, amazing! The Gray invasion seemed a bit far-fetched (but who knows?). This book did intrigue me enough to start looking for others on these subjects.

A good starting place but a little short at 137 pages. Give it a read and decide for yourself.

This isn't the best book on the Philadelphia Experiment but it does add some interesting points. I was very much intrigued by Al Bielek, Montauk, and the M.K. Jessup seance. (Note: It will make you think twice about your surroundings and the possible hidden secrets of time travel and invisibility)

I HAVE READ JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ON THE PHILADELPHIAI have always had this fascination with the Philadelphia Exp ever since I read a book years ago b the late Dr M K essup which touched on the subject.This book is the only one I know of in print that gives the details of Jessup's unfortunate passing -- which though reported as a suicide may not have been.Commander X with his militaryintelligence operative background comes closer to the truth that any other researcher on the Phila Exp.Jessup was found inside his carhis death caused bycarbon monoxide ... his car windows were rolled up and sealed. A doctor passing thru the park found his body and pronounced him dead on the spot. Shortly before his death he had told close friends that he had found out more details on the Phila Exp and planned to expose them to the world.The rest of the book deals with the case of Al Bielek who is the only known survivor. His story is fascinating and makes for good reading.The book reads like a good mystery novel.

I expected a more comprehensive study of the Philadephia Experiment. This book prints some of the rumor behind the project but fails to follow up in depth on even the rumors. It seems to have been designed as a primer to whet the neophyte's interest, but unfortunately the neophyte does not come away from this book knowing substantially more than when coming to it. Too bad, because the entire saga raises a myriad of fascinating issues and questions. Perhaps this book was written merely to cash in on the perennial interest in the Philadelphia Experiment. Unfortunately, this ground is rife with tall tale tellers and out-and-out con artists. Without hard proof, the entire story is destined to remain nothing more than muttled legend and grist for the lunatic fringe's mills.
