Product Description
The highly anticipated sequel to the #1 NEW YORK TIMES bestselling book!
Secrets have a way of getting out, especially when a diary is involved.
Whatever you do, don’t ask Greg Heffley how he spent his summer vacation, because he definitely doesn’t want to talk about it.
As Greg enters the new school year, he’s eager to put the past three months behind him . . . and one event in particular.
Unfortunately for Greg, his older brother, Rodrick, knows all about the incident Greg wants to keep under wraps. But secrets have a way of getting out . . . especially when a diary is involved.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules chronicles Greg’s attempts to navigate the hazards of middle school, impress the girls, steer clear of the school talent show, and most important, keep his secret safe.

An Equally Enjoyable Sequel! October 10, 2008 M. E Grant (Clinton Twp., Michigan) Jeff Kinney's "Diary of a Wimpy Kid"-series are an excellent way to "trick" people into becoming readers. The books read fast, they're very funny (sometimes laugh out loud funny), the pictures liven up every page, and they can appeal to a wide age group. Adults will read the books and fondly remember similar adventures of their youth. Children and teens can read them to laugh at the misadventures of our "hero"...who's equal parts wimp and miscreant. Rodrick Rules keeps the pace set in the original novel and offers nice segues towards topics like: spending unwanted time with one's mother, playing role-playing games, teen house parties, procrastinating unwanted school projects, being "cool" in front of girls, and holidays with the relatives. I strongly recommend buying Kinney's books, reading them, and then leaving them lying in places where children/teens might stumble across them. Reading and laughter become contagious when handled correctly and this author knows exactly how to balance the two!
The hillarious book! October 2, 2008 Paloma (Atlanta, Georgia) So i bought this book for my daughter's birthday and she told me mom thank you and thank you very much for the book and after she was done she was like wow what a great book and that's kind of what like life is like she said that there was a lot of humerious jokes in there!!!
Great Book September 16, 2008 M. Huff (Oklahoma, USA) I bought this book for my 10yr old son. He loved it and my 2 daughters (9 & 14) loved it to. I also found myself reading it. Great Book lots of fun.
My son doesn't want to put the book down! September 10, 2008 Thornwood Mom (Thornwood, New York United States) My son is going into 3rd grade and I tried all sorts of books to grab his interest and get him reading, this one did it, he reads this at night and when I go in to say lights out he pleads to read a few more pages. He laughs and reads me parts that he thinks are funny - enough said!!
Excellent book September 1, 2008 Candace M (Portland, Oregon) I recently gave two of these books to an 8-year old boy. He loves reading and devoured these books in a couple of days. He stayed up with the proverbial lamp under the covers the first night to finish the first book. He loved the books.
