Good space and sturdy July 30, 2008 Victoria Levin I used this to pack my son's clothes for 4 weeks of summer camp. It is roomy and seems sturdy. I hope it holds up for many years to come.
great large size June 7, 2008 Brenda bought this for my son to take to summer camp (they did not want the kids to bring airline suitcases) - plenty of space, nice storage pouch to keep it in when not in use; probably not going to take years of rough handling like an army surplus or heavy wt canvase bag would but great for the occasional light use
carryall bag April 3, 2008 freida damon (Sunny Florida) This is a good size to stow stuff in for a day's outing. I like the fact that it is totally flexible so that I can cram it into a small space. Seems very well made.
Two points after 1 year of use. November 4, 2007 Thomas of Libertan (Boulder, Madison, COWI) 1) The XL size is suitable for containing a backpack, the sort that grubby youths take on European tours. This is useful when the backpack goes aboard an aeroplane, saving the backpack from tears, straps catching their machinery and careless handling. These lessons were learned, not conjured up. 2) The fabric is indeed tough, however the zipper will fail long before the fabric does. I consider this the weak link, and a zipper of the next grade in toughness would be a marked improvement. The zipper failed on me only once, at a moment of great bloatedness. I bought a Medium and XL for a total of 4(four) dollars courtesy of REI, and so I am quite happy. Yes, I may seem dull.
Great Quality - Bigger then expected November 3, 2007 Cheryl Lore 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I needed a duffle bag that would hold foam sparing head gear, a set of foam sparing gloves and a set of foam sparing foot covers. I could have gotten the size smaller and it would have been a perfect fit and easier for our 6 year old to carry. This size would hold 3 times the amount. However, the quality is great and I am not disappointed at all. There is just extra room for other things. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another duffle bag from this company (brand).
