Product Description The correct EST (Eastern Standard Time) has been preset at the factory, so just plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary. In the case of a power interruption, the built-in Lithium battery maintains the correct time so you don't have to re-set the clock. When Daylight Savings Time changes take place in the spring and fall each year, there is no need to adjust the clock because the built-in calendar recognizes the dates and automatically makes the proper time adjustments. Choose your own snooze time instead of being held captive by the short time intervals of other snooze times. Each press of the snooze button adds an additional 10 minutes to your total snooze time for up to a full hour of uninterrupted sleep. Very happy with this purchase. Inexpensive and does everything that I wanted. Nice display, comes with time already set, easy to set alarm, and easy to turn off alarm, no worries about resetting after power interruptions.

Very nice clock radio for the price. It was for a gift..so I can't rate the performace, but I am sure it is fine.
excellent product August 16, 2008 Amarilis Aviles 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was looking for a reliable and inexpensive clock and I have found it. Great reception, easy to set, and a Sony, what more could you ask for and under 15 dollars.
You get what you pay for August 15, 2008 Robin Elliser (New York USA) Forget the radio. It's an alarm clock. And it'll cost almost as much to return it as to keep it.
M G Felton August 9, 2008 M. G. Felton (Rocky Mount, NC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have been very satisfied with the Sony radio that I purchased. It works just as advertised and I have had no problems with it. The two recommendations to Sony that I ha;ve is (1) make the alarm a little louder or have a volume control for it and (2) have the alarm control so that it could be left on without resetting it every day.
