Great Disposable MP3 Player September 7, 2008 Michael D. Powers (Houston TX) Couldn't be happier with it until it no longer worked (6 months). The internal battery wouldn't hold a charge anymore, and since it's internal you can not replace it. Trying to get another one under the warranty, but i'm getting the run around and havn't been succesful yet. Search the dead battery on the clip, there are more of us. Great purchase if you plan on 6 months worth of useage.
Solid player September 6, 2008 Brendan Swider Pros: Small size makes it great for the gym. I don't even realize it's clipped to my shorts while I'm working out or running. The clip works well and does its job. The menus are easy to navigate and the blue glow of the buttons looks good. The battery life is great even when you do a lot of browsing through the menus. Cons: Really nothing. The volume sometimes doesn't get loud enough on some of my songs but that is just personal preference. I could have used more memory but there is also a 4 gig version of this same player. Other thoughts: Get the latest firmware update to add a more accurate battery indicator and better shuffle features
Just right September 4, 2008 R. Lindeman My significant other has had this for awhile. It was so great I got one too. My SO wears it running and it has not succumbed to "sweat". I thought it was easy to install. I LOVE the radio. It is big enough to be easy to use and small enough to hide in my lab coat at work so I can use it during down time.
Sansa Clip August 30, 2008 Jonathon Dewit This is thee best mp3 on the market right now. I've used the Ipod nano, Ipod touch, and a several zunes. First of all I dislike Apple because they overprice their stuff. Second itunes is a piece of junk the interface is horrible. Now i liked the zune the only reason why i had so many is because i usually sat on the screen and cracked it. But i grew tired of the big and bulky mp3 players. Pictures and movies were pointless to me. After all thats what cell phones and computers are for. This is so much better than the shuffle because not only do you get an lcd screen but you also get it for about 50 bucks less. I have had no problems with this. The sound is really good and you will hardly know that you even have it clipped to your shirt. The software that it comes with is pointless because you can just use amazon to get your mp3 and you can just Windows Media player to sync your player which i love. Now if you wanted to go with another route i suggest you go with the zune.
Excellent Player August 29, 2008 Scott D. Bowden I am thoroughly enjoying this player. This is an upgrade to a 2 GB from a 1 GB Clip (wanted more music capacity). I copied all of my CD's to Media Player 11 and uploaded about 470 of them to this in just a few minutes. It has a very easy to read screen when I want to scroll through artists, albums or just let it play alphabetically by song title. The FM is OK but I don't use it much yet. I use JVC noise filtering ear plug type headphones. They block out surrounding noise so the volume does not need to be set too loud. The rechargeable battery has a pretty long life between charges and charging is easy with a Motorola phone wall or car charger. It is small and lightweight but I can turn it on, adjust volume, pause, play, fast forward to the next song or start one over while the unit is in my shirt pocket and I have my work gloves on.
