Great for the price August 23, 2008 Sean Trudeau (Chicago, Illinois) I bought this about 1 month ago and installed it on my own. For the most part the install was really easy.. If you have a ford and are trying to do the steering wheel controls I advise against it. (its not the radio's fault tho).. The IPOD integration is AWESOME. It has a little wheel display on the touch screen and its really easy to pick your favorite songs. I am also VERY happy with the DVD player.. We did a little "doctoring" so we can watch DVD's while I'm driving (safely of course) and it has really made the long trips a lot more bearable.. My big thing now is listening to director commentaries on DVD (you dont really have to see the screen since people are mostly talking)... All in all for the price this cant be beat.. Pioneer has consistently good products and the fit and finish is first rate..
Best thing in the world August 19, 2008 N. Brito (Venezuela, South America) This is perfect to entertain my son when we're in the car, plus i swicht from a dvd movie, to my ipod songs with just one touch, then to the radio, and so, and so. Is an awsome product, i'm very happy with it.
works great August 15, 2008 Humberto Escamilla Gonzalez (Mexico) i loved it, it is not complicated to use and has a lot of functions.

Can't be beat for the price. July 15, 2008 Ty Vernon (Atlanta, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Where to start? A name brand (and good one at that) in-dash dvd player for under $400? I had a factory radio in an '05 Pathfinder and was tired of trying to find FM transmitters for my ipod, so I bit the bullet and took a chance on this with not many reviews at the time I got it. Well i really lucked out. This thing is great. Its customizable to go with your vehicle's lighting, it integrates seamlessly with ipods(note: you can even watch youtube videos on it with an ipod touch or iphone), dvd's look and play well (note: as the guy above said you can get around the video lock out whilst driving. You don't need a professional to do it though, just dig around on google a bit. Of course I would never do this and don't recommend it. I just ran across it while learning how to install it on my own). You can hook it up to extra monitors, hook in other devices, use bluetooth, setallite, or HD radio if you get the adapters. If you're like me and you have a Garmin and thus don't need navigation built in this is the perfect head unit.
