Product Description The Nav-Mat is the most convenient mounting accessory for your portable GPS today. Using the physics of weight distribution along with high tech anti-skid materials, it creates a solid mounting base while turning your windshield mounted GPS into a dash mounted GPS.The Nav-Mat conforms to the contours of your dashboard, allowing it to work on uneven or textured surfaces while the anti-skid underside keeps the device from sliding. Designed to work with devices up to several pounds using the windshield suction mount sold with most popular GPS units, the Nav-Mat requires no tools for installation and can easily be moved from vehicle to vehicle or put out of sight when exiting the vehicle. Also works well with other Bracketron Windshield Mounts for mounting devices such as Satellite Radio, Cell Phones and MP3 Players.

Friction Dash Pad October 12, 2008 Lee Kurasowicz (Marco Island, FL) This is a must have product. I did not want to attach the plate to hold my GPS on the windshield. This mat holds fast to the dash in all driving situations. Then, when you stop somewhere and leave the car, you simply grab the mat with the GPS attached and place in on the floor by the drivers seat. This removes the obvious telltale that your vehicule has a GPS device on board.
GPS holder October 12, 2008 Thomas L. Gossard (Laurel MD, USA) I've used this for a month now with my Magellan and I love it. Here in MD we can't have anything mounted on the windsheild. I had to come to a quick stop and was sure it would fly off my dash board, it didn't. This NavMat is heavy enough to stay in place.
friction dash pad October 11, 2008 Rosemary R. Colvin (DeMotte, Indiana) This makes my GPS experience complete. My monitor stays attached and the Nav-Mat stays where I put it. It takes up space, and we drive a HHR that has little room on the dash, but the NAV-MAT is willing to share space with the CB that was there first. No problem with the cable hookup which is on the bottom of my TOM TOM either. I read other reviews, and was concerned about some of them, followed my own judgement and am SO GLAD I did. Works as Good As the Garmin Version Just Cheaper October 10, 2008 standstill27 (CA USA) I gave this product a try because it was 50% cheaper than the Garmin version. I find it to be a little smaller but works. It doesn't slide around like I was afraid it would do, it just stays put. The only thing I found negative about it was it left a residue on my dash. Not really noticeable but from an angle you can see it when the sun hits the dash.
Awesome October 10, 2008 A. DaSilva (Irvine, CA United States) Delivery wasn't long and it works just like advertised. I like the fact that it fits on my dash and doesn't move at all when I'm driving. I have a nissan pathfinder so it fit well enough.
