I compared the kodak batteries to those. kodak 1650mAh single battery $35
vs. $19 for 2 1800mAh batteries charger, car adapter, and the euro adapter.

Batteries work fine for me. Have taken a couple of hundred pictures so far on a single charge(to reach a fully charged battery they mention to extend the battery charge 1 more hour after the charger light turns green for a FULL CHARGE). Just having the charger light turn green is only a Normal Charge but extending the charge 1 Full hour gives you a Full Charge. It works great for me and I love it.

I ordered the batteries and charger and received them in a timely manner- no complaints there whatsoever. The charge light on the charger constantly stayed green and this was even with no battery in the charger. The instructions said that the light should turn red while it's charging and green when its done. I never saw red!! I kept the battery in the charger for at least a day. Then I thought maybe it was fully charged when sent (even though the instructions on the battery pack said to charge them before use)and that maybe this was the cause for the light staying green. I also noticed when I placed the battery in the charger that the fit was not well, it seemed as if the battery wasn't making contact (it jiggled around too much). After placing the battery in the camera I noticed that the fit was very tight in the camera - I had to use tweezers to get them out. I'm not sure if this is related to the problem or not. I emailed Nextop and they said that they would refund my purchase but also stated that they were selling thousands of KLIC-8000 batteries and chargers every month, and the defective rate is only 1%. So it is kind of weird that all items are not working on your camera. Well weird as it may seem if the battery doesn't seem to sit correctly in the charger and has a tight fit in my brand new Kodak Z712IS and the charger never goes from red to green as indicated on the instructions then clearly the problem is both the charger and the batteries. I'm awaiting my refund now which they indicated should take 3- 5 days once they receive the merchandise back and I will probably just spend the extra $20 on top of the $23 for this purchase and buy the Kodak brand battery and charger at my local Best Buy to insure that my camera will always have a functioning battery. I guess that's why they say you get what you paid for.

I purchased this item when my digital camera's batteries ran out. I tried looking in the nearest store but could not find batteries that worked for my camera. I checked online & this was, by far, the best deal. As stated, I received the AC charger, car adapter, European adapter, & 2 battery packs. The batteries fit right into my camera. The charger plugs into the wall socket & does not take up much space. I can even fit everything in my camera bag (Lowepro Clips 100 Camera Bag for Digital Video Cameras (Arctic Blue)).
The battery worked right away. I haven't used my camera that much, so I haven't had to recharge it, yet. I will come back to add more about how long the batteries lasted, etc.
