Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This strap is designed to use your shoulders instead of your neck to support the weight of your binoculars. The elastic straps allow the binoculars to slide up and flex out when in use. The elastic keeps the binoculars secure, yet readily available for the outdoor enthusiast who needs to stay mobile. Works for all sizes of binoculars, cameras, or range finders, and is fully adjustable.

4 out of 5 stars Simple and effective   March 5, 2008

This is a handy little item which keeps your lightweight DSLR, or binoculars, from bouncing around when you are on horseback or are hiking through rough terrain. No longer do I have to go with a point-and-shoot while riding. It holds the camera against your body and permits you to raise it to get the shot.

This is the best thing since sliced bread...especially if you have a bad neck and can't stand anything hanging on it.

3 out of 5 stars make sure it'll work with your camera before you buy!   December 1, 2006

"Works for all sizes of binoculars, cameras, or range finders, and is fully adjustable"

Unfortunately the description for this product doesn't mention how it attaches to the camera/binoculars. The harness straps have two metal clips, which clip onto plastic rings, which the user must attach to the camera by using zip-ties (all of which is included). They key for this, is that the camera must have built-in loops (such as for attaching a camera strap) on both sides, or else the camera will only link to the shoulder straps by one point, and will not be very secure against the chest.

I bought this item as a gift, and luckily the recipient's camera did have loops on both sides. I had hoped to get one for myself, but this design would not work for my camera, though most likely all harness-style camera straps would have this same limitation.

If your camera does have two camera strap loops, then this product would be a good choice. It seemed well made, and would be great for hiking.

But, if your camera only has one camera strap loop, then it will not work that well, though would still move the weight of the camera from the neck to the shoulders.
