Small but protective March 21, 2006

I wanted as small a case as possible, not to smooth so as not to slip out of my hand, with one small compartment to fit a set of earbuds. Oh, and a removable belt clip would be good. This was one case that definitely satisfied those requirements. It won't let you see the screen but, as long as you don't need to control playback all the time, this will be very practical.

I had originally bought one of those rubber skins. The skin protected my ipod fine but it was a pain to take the ipod out when I wanted to dock my ipod or mount it in the car. Also, the clear rubber window of the skin greatly reduced the visual quality of the display. So, I went looking for a case with easy in and easy out capabilities. This case does that and provides access to the top of the ipod. The only drawback is you have to take it out to use the wheel or see the display. But I rarely use the ipod beyond my car or docked in my home stereo so this case is perfect for protection at all points in between. And the price is pretty good.
