Super unit August 26, 2008 Paul Swenson I am a retired Band Director and have gotton 4 of these over the years. They are really good. I bouht the first one so I could plug a mic with 1/4 into it. This ine listed here is my own , not one for a school.
the best sounding cassette deck I have ever heard February 19, 2008 music lover (earth) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Have owned for a year and probably has 300+ hours of use and so far so good, no problems with any function. This is the best sounding recorder I have ever heard and I have had many pro decks. When used with premium type II tapes the copy is indistinguishable from the source. Get it while you can.
Tape Recorder Success January 11, 2007 C. M. Lawrence (paso robles CA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It came in 4 days!! Just exactly what I wanted ++. The playover feature plays both tapes. The controls are all up front and easy to use. The manual is easy to understand. And the price was great. I thought I'd have a hard time finding a dual deck cassette, but no problem!! Charlie Lawrence
Great machine for the money August 18, 2006 Galen Smith 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I haven't had a single problem with this thing yet and I've run well over 250 cassette tapes through it (side A and B) without any problems. If you keep the heads clean and keep it unplugged when you won't be using it for a while I think you will be in great shape.
Good Cassette Deck, Great Sound July 14, 2006 Concerned One (Clarinda, IA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have had this cassette deck for 2 years now, and it has perfomed well for me. It was a wedding gift from my brother, and it has worked well with my surround sound JVC reciever. This does have the compulink feature which combines the remote funcion of the reciever with the cassetter deck, which is nice to play with. The push buttons and continuous play features are all there, and the Dolby mix buttons are also there for B and C. I think this ran around 200 dollars when he got it for us, but I believe now around 100 bucks is a fair going rate, and well worth every penny of it. If you look on auction sites, may be able to even get it for cheaper. This would be a steel for anything less. Should provide me many more years of listening stabilty for this dead format of music. RIP Cassettes, for you were the format of my generation.
