COMFORTABLE!! August 19, 2008 J. Ide (Aiea, Hawai'i) I purchased this a few months back and I use this headset everyday for hours of telephone conference calling and regular telephone usage. Pro(s): EARPAD is VERY COMFORTABLE!! LOVE IT!!! Microphone is top quality, everyone can hear my voice clearly. Speaker has very good audible quality. Lightweight and foldable. Fits on the Xbox 360 controller and I tried it and it works very well. Cons(s): NO in-line mute or volume control VERY SATISFIED with this product and will purchase 2 more! Want to put a sixth star for this headset.
It's good for the price but... August 4, 2008 T. Sherry (Cali) I like it cause it's hand free... But the sound quality is so so...sometimes sounds like people are mumbling...a bit of "Whats that?...what did you say?" I still like it but wish the quality was better...maybe if you pay more you get more?
Sounds good, no problems July 24, 2008 JStevens (Marietta, GA USA) Parties on the other end say it sounds just like I'm talking normally on the phone. Sound is great through ear speaker also. No frills, just works like it is supposed to.
Compatible with My Dect6 Phone but not with My Head July 23, 2008 Phyllis Staff (Dallas, Texas USA) A folding headset sounded like just the ticket to go with my new Dect6 phones. As with so many products, the hype was better than the reality. Here's my take on this headset: Pros: 1. Sound quality is good compared to other headsets I've used. No problems here. 2. With the volume control on my phone and the volume control on the headset, I can up the volume sufficiently to hear over most background noise. In quiet rooms, the headset can be adjusted to provide more volume than I will ever need. 3. Light-weight, so it's no problem to carry around. Cons: 1. While I expected the folding feature to be a big benefit, turns out it's not so great when you first need to answer the phone. Rather than just slip on the headset and talk, you need to unfold it, untangle the cord, adjust it to your head, and, finally, talk. I won't be getting a foldable headset again. 2. The headset is not too small for my head, so I don't get a headache from using it . . . IF I can keep it on my head. The pad on the side opposite the earpiece is convex rather concave like it should be. The result is that this headset easily slides off my head, and I find myself needing to adjust it several times during a call. When that happens I'm concentrating more on keeping the headset on than on the conversation I should be paying attention to. Having to do it over again, I would revert to the Plantronics headset I have used for years. However, this Panasonic headset is serviceable for people with medium to large heads.
A headset that works. July 14, 2008 Jane A. Magarigal Very pleased with this headset. Comfortable, collapsible, I can hear everyone, and they can hear me. Not so with alot of other headsets. Affordable too.
