Product Description DECT is a cordless phone protocol that has been very popular in Europe for nearly a decade. The FCC recently adopted this technology for use in the USA. It makes sense. Good clear sound November 21, 2008 Andy H. (Upstate NY) We got this phone set because our last phone had muffled sound. A consumer testing organization recommended the sound on this Panasonic. And yes, it is much better for us than the last phone. In addition, we find we are using some of the features. No complaints for these first six weeks of ownership.
Not bad for the money November 18, 2008 J. Ferguson (Fairfax, VA USA) This phone is decent for the money, but I expected more. You have to separately store numbers in the address book in both handsets. The voice clarity sometimes fades in and out a little, and you cannot set your own ring tone. Otherwise it seems to be a good phone.
Dect 6.0 November 11, 2008 Edward J. Miller (Suwanee, GA) Was extremely pleased with the Panasonic Dect 6.0 answering system. It works where others had failed and it is so convenient not to have to get up and get the phone in the other room. It's terrific.
Great phone, nice features November 11, 2008 Dennis Wagner This panasonic phone replaced an older Uniden model with poor battery life and poor reception. This new phone lives up to its specs, very clear voice response. Our hard of hearing 90 year old mother loves the speakerphone in both handsets. If you can't find one handset, just press intercom, it beeps the other, and becomes an intercom on the other handset. The buttons are large and easy to use. We like the fact that the batteries are simple NiMH standard units, not expensive special costly batteries. The base unit takes up very little room and works great. Thats, it, great phone, you will like it.
Did not work as well as it should November 10, 2008 Deidre L. Hays I recieved my Panasonic Phone in perfect condition, however, noone likes to talk to me on it because of the loud buzzing and fuzz. Also it does react to the internet. If the phone is in use, the internet cannot be. That was why I bought the phone, because it was promised not to interfear with internet. I am truley dissapointed.
