August 26, 2008 Mr. COPEPOD (Washington, DC) I bought this scanner after recommendation from my historical data rescue contractors, which uses them daily and highly recommends them. Out of the box, without even reading the manual(s), the included software works well and the scanner chewed through large stacks of paper with no problems. My contractors noted that (under very heavy use) the feeding wheels can be / should be replaced every three years. [Symptoms are sheet mis-feeding.] These parts can be ordered from the company and replaced with no major hassles.
