| Customer Reviews:
Very bright and clear January 28, 2008 C. Hilts (Austin, TX) I was looking for some binoculars for general use, and hunting, and wanted something as good as I could get for the $, and found it in these. On paper, these are basically the same thing as the e2's (both have Fully multi-coated lenses with Bushnell's XTR coating, BaK-4 prisms, PC-3 phase coating and Rainguard) but the Discoverer's are half the price. The only thing that I've found to be a big difference in the two is the weight of the Discoverer, which is not a big deal for me...even for hunting use. I recently had a chance to take them hunting, and didn't notice the weight, but did notice the great clarity and brightness of the unit. BTW, buy them while you can...seems that they're getting harder to come by.
Great binoculars February 8, 2007 Nathan (Delaware, OH United States) Pros: Bright, clear, high resolution. Handles low light and excessive light conditions well. Center Diopter adjustment is great. Easy to focus precisely. Small size for full size binos. Cons: Objective lens caps are not tethered. A bit heavy. Make sure you get the Bushnell Discoverers. The B&L Discoverer's are not phase coated.
