This style of doublet makes a super-sharp,
mostly flat, almost completely color-corrected
view without getting too exorbitant on the price.
I find my eyes are more relaxed and I see tinier
detail than the cheaper loupes of the same power.
Looking at old Kodachrome slides is breathtaking.
I got a second for work...looking at small circuit
boards. Brilliant detail. I wish they had the
same optics in a base-less design. It does work
almost as well flipped, though.
