Simple, Good Alarm September 17, 2008 Henry T. Stein, Ph.D. (Bellingham, WA, USA) A good, simple alarm, easy to set and read. A somewhat louder alarm would be more appealing.
Great Product September 9, 2008 J. Shepherd (NM, United States) I'm amazed such a simple product can help travel so much. Even when a hotel has a clocks it's convenient to have your own and be sure things are set as expected. This clock is great for travel, easy to set, and easy to read in a strange environment. Hit the big blue button and a gentle back light shows time in BIG numbers, then gently fades away. The alarm is loud enough, but not annoying.
Good Value August 15, 2008 R. Zeman (Southeastern, US) For the money this little clock is a pretty good buy. The numbers are large and easy to read, the time and alarm are straightforward and easy to set, the alarm starts out softly and gets louder until you push the snooze or turn it off, and the dial lights up at night nicely when you push the snooze button. It also unfolds to create a stand for the clock. It's compact when folded for travel, but the cover is cheaply made. I'm not sure how well it will hold up under abuse, I would feel compelled to wrap it in a sock or something in a suitcase. All in all for the money it has everything I need for a travel alarm clock and it keeps good time so far, too.
Great Simple little travel alarm clock May 29, 2008 M. Rapp (Oceanside, CA) This clock worked perfect for my trip to Australia. Compact simple and easy to use!
Timex Digital Travel Alarm Clock with Indiglo night light. April 28, 2008 J. C. Sterne (Arllington, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this clock for myself as a replacement. I gave mine to my niece as a gift with other travel inspired items, but only after I confirmed that I coud purchase another one on Amazon. I love it. I use it every day and night both at home and on trips. It is lightweight, accurate and easy to see. And when you wake up in the middle of the night and want to know the time, the INDIGLO feature on the Timex is terrific. No need to turn on a light. The Timex requires one AAA battery. The battery should last a long time and is easily accessible for replacement. The Timex base folds over the screen and is perfect for travel. I not only would order the Timex Indiglo Travel Alarm again, I already have. J.C. Sterne
