I've been working on managing my weight for some time and I have had several scales that were not accurate. I love this scale and all of it's features (digital display, body fat & water weight % scale) and I would recomend it to anyone looking to keep tabs on their weight.
 Problem with Body Fat Calculation August 9, 2008

This is an attractive and easy to use scale. The weight measures are consistent and the hydration measurement seems reasonable. The body fat percent shown is way off, but it is consistent. I am a 6 foot male about 240 lbs and this scale says I have 6.6% body fat. The correct number should be between 20 - 25%. The reading is off for my entire family.
The instructions say to stand on the plates for your feet and keep your thighs apart. Legs aren't made to put your feet so close together and still keep your thighs apart.

I love the % body fat feature. And that it recalls your previous info prior to showing your latest results. The % body fat feature is really motivating...as a guy I can't just go by by weight...it's amazing to see the % body fat go down when i'm eating right and working out...and my weight doesn't necessarily change. It's a very nice looking scale too...and seems to be built well.

I had a scale before , but that lacked the body fat measurement, which in reality is more important than the weight itself (I can fluctuate 4 pounds in one day). In any case, after setting up your stats (of which there are 4 possible settings), it's as easy as pie. Tap one of the four pre-set pedals, wait 10 seconds (the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars), and step on.
It doesn't store past readings (except the most recent), which, whatever. If I cared that much I could record it all, but dang, a great deal!
