sunblock July 22, 2008 Joanne Goldberg Pace This is a great sunblock for sensitive skin, I use it on my face and my childrens' faces, it works and does not cause any skin problems. We've been using this product for 5 years !
Great idea! June 30, 2008 Danielle N. Alberti (Denver, Co USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this in Walgreens during a touristy day in Chicago when I looked in a mirror. Seeing a completely baked, reddened face, I realized that I'd forgotten sunscreen. Oops. All I had back home was the gross and greasy classic coppertone, so I figured it was time to upgrade to something more adult anyway. When I saw this, I knew it was what I needed. It's about as wide as 2, maybe 2.5 tubes of chapstick, with the thickness of one. It spreads on much like a deodorant. So, while some people may complain about the price of .47 oz of sunscreen, it's actually very long-lasting. Much like how a waxy tube of chapstick will last longer than a more liquidy balm, like Carmex (in the squeeze tube). You just don't use as much, and you certainly don't waste as much. It feels a little waxy going on (not really greasy), but it soaks in very quickly. And it's light enough that it's very easy to forgot that you have it on. You can smell it if you actually smell the stick itself (and it's not unpleasant), but it's gone by the time it's on your face. I use this sunblock on my face, since that's where I tend to burn. However, I've also been known to use it on my chest, shoulders and upper arms, where it works just as well. Yes, if you need full body coverage, you'll be better with a spray or lotion before leaving the house, but this is great for touch-ups, and as someone mentioned before, the "oops, forgot my sunscreen!" moments like I seem to have every day. The packaging is small, hard and secure, so it's great to stash in your purse or pocket without having to worry about a mess. Overall, works great with convenience! I payed about $10 for this item (stupid Chicago!!), but it usually retails at about $6, which is well worth it. This is a great deal from Amazon.
Worth the price for fussy kids September 11, 2007 N. Barricklo (Riverdale, NY United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My kids (ages 5 & 8) only want to use stick sunscreen on their faces. This one isn't greasy and smells good, too. It doesn't sting. Highly recommended.
Perfect for tossing into a bag March 29, 2007 belacane (Sammamish, WA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We all have very pale skin in my family, and these are great little "I forgot to put on sunscreen" helpers! I keep one in the car, one in my purse, etc., so we are never without one. Excellent product, and easy to use.
I'm only giving this one star because I'm allergic to Avobenzone February 25, 2007 Dorinda Conlon (Phoenix, AZ) 4 out of 20 found this review helpful
Avobenzone 2.0% , Homosalate 15.0% , Octinoxate 7.5% , Octisalate 5.0%
