Understated lines meet absolute comfort in our fully upholstered bed. The thick, polyester/cotton padded headboard offers luxuriant support for reading and relaxing. The upholstered platform has a built-in box spring. Framed in solid hardwood, it rests on solid alder block feet finished with a dark walnut stain. Made in the USA of kiln-dried sustainably harvested hardwood frames with double dowels. All joints use mortise and tenon construction. Heavy-gauge steel spring border rod enhances edge support and overall bed resiliency. Feet have gliders to protect floors. Williams Sonoma Home is proud to introduce our Green Collection. Creating truly great design with an eco-friendly point of view, our Green products are noted by the symbol above, and are distinguished by any one of the following characteristics: Organic, Recycled, Reclaimed, Sustainable. All upholstered King and Cal King beds have two platforms in order to fit them through doorways, up staircases and around hallway corners.
