Product Description Pelican's SabreLite is the leader in quality and performance; Carries more approvals than any other flashlight on the market today, making it safe for any hazardous environment or condition --- The SabreLite is o-ring sealed with a twist-on shroud and comes with a polarity battery guard tray that safeguards against dangerous "outgassing" of hydrogen from an accidentally reversed cell

Awesome November 23, 2007 R. Ochoa 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Quite simply this flashlight is worth every penny. It is "super" bright. The beam is very focused and intense. It is not good for a large spread of light but is excellent for an intense concentrated light source. It is fully submersible and it has a lifetime guarantee if it ever breaks. It is used by the Navy Seals (a slightly different version) and is the best flash light I have ever owned. You might be able to get a better one for a lot more money but you wont need it if their is a better one, not for regular use anyhow.
Super product for use in damp environments August 3, 2007 H Lambert (Wenatchee, WA USA) While I was working in food safety in a processing facility, my entire department used these flashlights for preoperational inspection. At one point, my light fell far enough to actually rupture the batteries inside with no damage to the light, lense or body of the flashlight. We cleaned up the inside, replaced the batteries and it was still in use when I left the company. This is a great product for those in wet environments.
no good for divers! October 5, 2008 Ahmed Abd El Khalek (Egypt) if you are a scuba diver dont go for it its not good for diving
