4 out of 5 stars Good wheels, especially for the price   November 6, 2007

Upgrading longboard wheels can set you back quite a bit, but these wheels are a good value. I bought these looking for a good all-around wheel I could use for both cruising and park skating on my longboard (the Gravity BE40). The medium durometer and diameter gave them the versatility I was looking for. They provided a smooth ride and didn't chap much. The only thing I dislike about them is the small width of the contact patch; they don't grip very well. I would recommend them for cruising around (without hard turns) or for riding a longboard at the skatepark if you want a cushier and smoother ride.

1 out of 5 stars bouncy, soft and slow   January 25, 2008

My local skate shop recommended these wheels for cruising, but, unfortunately, they're very slow, even with new brand new bearings. For sidewalk cruising, I much prefer my 68mm Powell cruising bombers (86a). Maybe I'm not used to riding wheels this soft, but the Bombers are much faster, and still very grippy and smooth.
