Product Description Interior Dimensions: H- 7 x D- 4.5 x W- 6.75 inches (17.5 x 11.25 x 16.8 cm) The Yellowstone is M-ROCK's most popular top load holder bag and is perfect for carrying SLR bodies with up to a 4 inch lens attached, such as the Nikon D or Canon EOS ranges. The Yellowstone is the most well made, functional and user-friendly top load holster camera bag in it's size range. The lid opens away from the body for obstruction free access while carrying the bag. The bag is constructed with water resistant nylon fabric. The contents are protected by dense closed cell foam, plastic panels and soft felt like lining with a non abrasive interior. The Yellowstone includes two comfortable and dual adjustable shoulder straps for carrying the bag as a shoulder bag, backpack or tummy bag, without purchasing an additional harness sytem. Also included are; two bridges to take the weight of the camera body off the lens, a weather jacket that envelopes and draw string shuts around the bag for extra protection against extreme conditions, a lens cloth and rubber bungee straps for carrying a small tri-pod, wind breaker jacket or umbrella below the bag. Increase the carrying capacity by attaching one of M-ROCK's three modular bags the Ozark 505, Niagara 506 & Rocky Mountain 507 to both sides of the Yellowstone. Wear the Yellowstone as a comfortable fanny pack by attaching M-ROCK's Modular Belt 530.

EASILY WORTH THE PRICE April 22, 2008 Frank L. Giordano (El Paso, TX United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have a LowePro backpack camera bag for my DSLR and the accompanying equipment, but there are times when lugging all that stuff around is truly a pain. Flying is one example. I could take my wife's little Canon ELPH, but I like to make rather large prints, and the tiny sensor has much too much noise when I make a large print. My solution is to take my Sony A700 body with a "do it all" lens attached. Sony's Zeiss 16 - 80 is my choice. It gives you a nice wide angle (about 24 or 25 mm) up to a short telephoto (120 mm). Tamron has a nice all in one 18 - 250 mm, but I opted for the wider wide angle rather than the longer tele. The camera body and Zeiss lens amount to over $2000 worth of equipment. You certainly want to protect something like that. This started me on a search for a compact but highly protective bag to carry this particular outfit in. The Yellowstone 511 was my choice, and two month later, I remain really happy with it. The camera and lens fit like a glove in this bag. The bag is lined with dense, highly absorbent foam that cushions shocks superbly. It comes with a weather cover you can put over it if it rains or snows. There are a couple of extra pockets that easily hold spare memory cards or batteries. The bag is extremely well made of top quality materials and looks like it will last for years. The strap is highly adjustable and is wide enough to be quite comfortable. Someone really did their homework on this bag. This is a case of truly getting what you paid for!
