Eco friendly and energy efficient! November 7, 2008

My family and I love these. Not itchy. VERY effective indoors or out. Used them for several years. We are able to save on winter heating cost with lowered thermostat and stay comfortably while wearing these around the house. Just purchased 4 more from this vendor and received them promptly with no problems. We carry spares in our vehicles.

I lost my father's hat from his time in the service and was having trouble finding a replacement. A number of stores claimed to have the correct hat but when I tried them on it was clear they were poor quality and didn't fit right.
I'm happy to report that this IS the hat used by the Navy or at least a very close approximation. I'm very happy with the purchase and would definitely order one of these again if I were to lose this one.

From the day that I was issued my first Navy uniform, I feel in love with the 100% Wool Night Watchman's cap. NOTHING will keep your head warmer. Sure you may look as if you are about to burglarize a home, but you will be comfortable, and that is what counts. LOL
Seriously, if you want the best beanie there is, don't buy synthetics...buy the best. 100% Wool. It keeps your head warm and dry, and it doesn't hold smells.
If the US Navy uses these out at sea, so should you.

This is a great watch cap at a bargain-basement price. I bought two of them (the other one is navy) and wear them constantly. They are tight-knit and plenty warm, and long enough to pull them way down past your ears.
Fashionable? Nah. But if you want fashion, shop at Armani. These are great hats. Buy a bunch of them.
