1 out of 5 stars Piece of garbage.   August 27, 2008

This thing is horrible as an HD antenna. I have a single vertical rod antenna that works far better than this thing. garbage.

3 out of 5 stars Got Only About Two Thirds of Stations that I Should   August 23, 2008
    prussianette (Grayslake, IL United States)
I really liked the look of this antenna, and with all the good reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. I live half way between Milwaukee and Chicago. With my RCA Indoor Amplified Tv Antenna, I received over 40 channels from both Milwaukee and Chicago, including CBS from Milwaukee (CBS is a difficult channel to get in Chicago area). I got almost no channels from Milwaukee with this antenna, and many of those in Chicago would fade in and out. Needless to say, I will be returning this. I thought about giving two stars, but decided to rate average with three as I suspect getting an appropriate antenna simply means finding one that works well with your TV, your geographic location, and your environmental circumstances.

5 out of 5 stars Works Perfectly!!!   August 14, 2008

my cable subscription raised the bill again and i don't really watch a lot of tv (just the local news and a few shows on local channels). so i decided to cancel my cable subscription and got me this antenna. to my surprise, the local channels from this antenna are clearer than when i had the cable, all hdtv channels looks good. :)

5 out of 5 stars Great Antenna   August 9, 2008

This is a good antenna. I'm using it in a basement that is mostly underground, and surrounded by brick walls and the HD channels come in crystal clear!

Just make sure you do an automatic channel search on your TV. Before I did that, I was having trouble tuning to any channels at all (probably not the fault of the antenna, though).

This antenna can be made very slim to fit virtually anywhere!

1 out of 5 stars Bad Performer   August 8, 2008
Colin M. (San Francisco, CA United States)
I'm wondering if I got a defective unit after reading the other reviews of this antenna. I'm using old-fashioned "rabbit ears" on my HDTV tuner (Terk TV-1). Wanted something with a lower profile and this appeared to fit the bill. Hooked it up, plugged it in and got less that half the HDTV channels I was getting with my old antenna. Seems to work slightly better when it's unplugged! Got better reception when it was placed in the window, but that defeats the "low profile" aspect. I still get twice the stations with my old rabbit ears at less than half the price.
