Works well and inexpensive August 16, 2008 T. Morgan (Houston, TX) This RAM arrived within a matter of days in the correct shipping container. It is important to avoid static buildup when dealing with computer components, so it was reassuring to see the anti-static bag upon opening the box. Installation is straightforward, no tweaking is necessary, and it works perfectly in my oldschool E-Machines M5310. Basic applications start and function much faster - why didn't I upgrade my RAM years ago?
RAM August 13, 2008 Trung H. Pham The price is affordable. My two RAMs are working just very smoothly. I recommend this product.
replacement RAM for Dell Inspiron 1100 October 17, 2007 Aaron D. Lau (Torrance, CA USA) Replacement RAM was easy to install and laptop started right up after install. Previous reviewer's comments gave me assurances that this product would work for me.
Laptop upgrade September 12, 2007 Karmen McArthur (Calistoga, CA USA) I purchased two of these to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop running Windows XP Home Ed. to go from 512MB total RAM to 1024MB(1G) total RAM. My computer took this upgrade like a fish to water. Now I am able to run multiple (larger) programs without making XP a little unstable and sometimes crashing programs. If this RAM upgrade is within your budget, it's worth it for the price. Whether you're a gamer or a programmer or apprentice novelist, sooner or later you'll realize that 256MB of RAM won't cut it. (I also have currently 5 self-built desktops up and running, the oldest for 6 years now). Also, as this RAM is made by Kingston, I have used this brand in over half my systems with no problems.
Memory for Thinkpad T30 Laptop January 9, 2007 B. Arnold 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The memory was received in a very short time. It installed easily and I was up and running in about 5 minutes. I have used the computer for several months and it has worked flawlessly. The goal was to increase my computer from 512 Meg. (2 x 256) up to 768 Meg with the new 512 chip.
