5 out of 5 stars works as expected   March 18, 2008

The battery works in my garage door opener, so it gets a 5 from me. As mentioned by the other reviewers, they are hard to find in local stores, so buy them here!

Edit: I saw these batteries in Home Depot, so if you have one nearby it should be cheaper to buy there.

5 out of 5 stars Inside are $40 worth of 1.5V Button Cell Batteries!   October 17, 2007

If you have a small electronic device like an ihome remote or a laser pointer you can save a bundle of money by buying this specific battery and opening it up to reveal ten 1.5V button cell batteries. There is absolutely no danger of battery acid burns or anything like that, just peel back the foil shell and you will find ten button cell batteries, identical to those that cost upwards of $4 each. search metacafe.com for "a23 battery hack" and you will see the video describing this money saving discovery.

These batteries are for door opener remotes and are hard to find. I found the batteries on Amazon and got them quickly. I have no idea where I would have located these batteries otherwise.

These batteries are somewhat difficult to find, especially in retail stores. However, they have multiple applications; in my case, for both my garage door opener keypad and remote control. Amazon had them in stock at an excellent price, shipping was quick and affordable, and the batteries are excellent.
