It's hard to verify the actual quality of this product without a disaster. I have always trusted APC surge protectors and UPSs.

Never had any electronics damaged when protected by APC products.
Here in South Carolina we have lots of thunderstorms with power surges and brownouts, but never a problem on protected items.
