Ok - could be better September 29, 2008 Andy (Los Angeles, CA) The product doesn't seem to last very long - but I'm not sure there are alternatives
HP Ink smears September 12, 2008 Markusx1a I've not found a current HP printer/ink that you can highlight without it smearing. I don't why this is (and writing HP they will blame your paper or something). Xerox inks do not smear that I've seen.
Returned May 21, 2008 William D. Latham This was returned becasue I thought it was a twin pak when ordered and discovered it was a single unit.

You can't go wrong by buying HP ink for HP products. Excellent. Substitutes do not compare with the real thing.
Way overpriced February 18, 2008 Kenneth M. Scheinblum (West Hartford, CT USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The cartridge (with Vivera Inks - whatever that means) produces fairly high quality color output. I really think the product is good. There are, however, a number of other factors to consider, preferably before you buy a printer: 1) The cartridges are extremely expensive 2) They run out of ink faster than one would expect 3) Unlike other makers, there is one cartridge for all colors, instead of multiple cartridges with single colors 4) Depending on your color preferences, you may need to replace the cartridge before it is empty. This is because if one uses a few color combinations a lot (think about putting your logo on everything you print, for example) you start to run low on a color component and not getting the color you want. 5) HP over-packaged the cartridges. If you are eco sensitive, you might have an issue. But you can send the cartridges back to HP for recycling at no charge. 6) If HP recycles their own cartridges, why do they try and scare buyers about purchasing recycled cartridges from another source? 7) If you do a lot of printing at one time, smears or drops can be expected. 7a) Remove and gently wipe any excess ink off of the jets with link free material. Bottom line: very good quality but is it cost justified?
