Product Description SkipDR makes repairing damaged discs easier than ever. When your CD, DVD, or game skips, it's disruptive. The problem is, once a disc surface is scratched, it will prevent the disc player's laser from reading the signal, which causes that irritating skipping. But the SkipDR has been saving discs for a decade now. The FlexiWheel microfrictional surface technology allows for gentle resurfacing of your disc and will restore it to its original playing quality.

Works Great. Repaired my scratched Xbox 360 Games. November 7, 2008 B. Smith (Wyo.) This works great. It's easy to use, has easy to understand and clear instructions. After reading the instructions, I had both my damaged games (disks) fixed in less than a minute each. No problems what-so-ever. Both disks were scratched in a circular patern and had minor normal use scratchs. Both were damaged beyond use, now they run w/o any hickups. I'm impressed. While it works it is noisy. No surprises there. The shipping was quick, the packaging was good, overall 5 stars everything works perfectly.
Super product for repairing discs November 4, 2008 Tom Rand (Palm Desert, CA) My son had a X-Box game that was not playing correctly in his machine. he wanted to fix it and a friend told him about Disc Doctor. We bought it. Simple to use and it did a good repair job. the disc now plays correctly and my son is having a lot of fun with his favorite game.
plastic junk October 27, 2008 Steven P. Raasch (Chicago) Machine broke on the first try. Took me 4 hours to dissasemble and rebuild it. Very shoddy workmanship and construction. Does try to do what it is supposed to. Takes multiple passes to get any improvement and this will result in lots of fluid use. Be prepared to buy extra fluid.
Well worth the money October 25, 2008 Starina5 (Upper Montclair, NJ United States) I was going to buy replacement DVDs for several scratched ones when I came across this item. I decided it would be well worth trying, and I am glad I did. It has successfully corrected 4 DVD's that I thought were a lost cause, so it's more than paid for itself already. I highly recommend trying!
Great product for easily destorying your CDs and DVDs October 15, 2008 Jared H. (Colorado Springs, CO) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We used this product some time ago, and it made deep buffing marks in our CDs. It was still playable, but with lots of new scratches. More recently we decided to give it another try with a Netflix movie that was skipping with a few minor visible scratches. We felt it was only honest to explain to Netflix that there are now deep patterned scratches all over the disk because we tried to use the Skip Dr. I don't often review products, but even products that don't work don't destroy your stuff, and the Skip Dr has destroyed everything we put in, even after carefully following directions/using ample solution etc. Really terrible product (we threw ours away).
