5 out of 5 stars Perfect companion to you own headphones   June 15, 2008
Kathleen P. (Long Beach, CA USA)
If you are planning to take an airline trip anytime soon and love to watch the movies they provide, then this product is a good companion to your own head phones. Just plug in your own head phone wire into this airline adapter, which is conveniently the exact required plug that fits in the airline arm rest, and voila you are ready to go. No more paying for airline movies/earphones (currently $5.00) and even better, this adapter is reusable for future flights.

5 out of 5 stars Nearly obsolete these days, but practical nevertheless...   May 18, 2008

If you are ever on one of the older airplanes with this kind of plug and have your own headphones this will come in very handy. Airline headphones are always cheap crap and hurt your ears more then they help, so I always carry my own noise isolating headphones with me...

Hey guys,

I am going to take a 20 hour flight. I am planning to buy an adapter but I am wondering if anybody tried them on Lufthansa since the lufthansa as I heard from someone is three-prong holes.

Thanks

My unit in April 2008 came in cardboard and plastic bubble pack with Maxell brand label on cardboard. Adapter has no brand name logo on it but seems well built.

5 out of 5 stars Great airline adapter   April 6, 2008

Well made adapter for airplanes, convertes the two plug outlet to one for headphone etc. saves cost of buying onboard earphone, and you can bring your own. have one in each travel case.
