I am very pleased with the product,it is perfect for the reason I bought the dimmer.I can uwe it to dim the bedroom light and turn it off when I get in bed.I would recomend it for anyone who needs a dimmer for a plug in light and it is very easy to turn off.

and it DOES have a red-light power-indicator - which the Lutron lamp-dimmer does not.

I bought these dimmers because our bedside lamps have hard to reach on/off switches. These are perfect.

After I bought the first one for the living room, I bought more, for the bedroom. You don't have to get up or stretch to change the brightness. They are perfect for lamps that are not close to you. Also dimming lamps saves electricity. I wouldn't call the red light a night "light" as such, but having the little red light makes the control easy to find in the dark.

I've owned Lutron devices before and they are always of excellent quality. If I have one monor complaint, it's that it hasn't a light on the unit that would make it easier to find in the dark.
