I am delighted to report that I have my portability back! My very wonderful HP Pavilion laptop's original battery was down to about 15 minutes of life. This does not truly support the concept of portability. Replacement batteries are expensive, but, sadly, the price wasn't really coming down much. Nevertheless, the best price+shipping total was available through this vendor on Amazon. I bit the bullet, made the purchase and am delighted by all the elements of the transaction, not least of which is that I now have my portability back!
