We took this camping and it was wonderful, I have to have a fan on me when I sleep and this was just the ticket!

I agree with the previous reviews, wish I'd read them before purchasing this fan to keep my search and rescue dog cool in my vehicle. The fan died after using it only a few times, now it won't work with the car adapter or even brand new D batteries, and the internal rechargeable battery doesn't work either.

I also bought this fan to use in my truck for my Service Dogs and even though it is supposed to charge off of a DC source, it never did. Mime also died after minimal use. I bought the O2 Cool portable A/C also for the Service dogs but I am afraid to depend on it to cool them in case it also fails. Guess I will just use it where I can watch them. Waste of money.

I just bought this item locally as I loved the first one (I use it to cool dogs hooked up to a 12v battery) but this one had strange pulsing behavior when I put it on AC using the adapter. It seems to be running fine on the rechargable but you only want to use that internal bateery when you need to.
It does seem they have made some design improvements in the acutal fan.

We purchased this fan 2 months ago and have to say we were very disappointed. It does not fully charge when plugged into the car adaptor. We took it on a week long camping trip. Once its charged with the A/C adapter it stays charged for about 2 hours on high. Finally, yesterday the fan died after minimal use. Would not recommend for the price.
