 It works, but very slow September 8, 2008

I bought this 4GB SDHC card expecting fast read/write performance since it's advertised as a class 6, 150x card. On the bright side, the card works. But the transfer speed is very slow. I use it in my digital camera (Panasonic TZ5) and I'm only getting about 3 megabytes/sec transfer out of this card, which is about half of Class 6 speed (which is supposed to be 6 MB/sec) and only a fraction of the 150x speed rating (which is supposed to be 22.5 MB/sec) that the card is advertised at. It's not worth the hassle and the money to return this card since it was cheap, but there are other cards at the same price range that don't seem to have as many problem cases.
So overall I would not buy this product again.

A-Data Turbo SD SDHC 4GB Class 6 Memory Card
First the card that you will get in the mail is not the one advertised at 150X. I bench tested the card and barely got 112X reading and 45X writing and neither speeds were stable. When you read the product details and the picture involved, you assume it will be a fast high performance card that you will be purchasing. But in reality you you will be getting a below standard card that its from A-Data but looks nothing like the one pictured. The price for it might seem good however when they charge you $7 per card to ship them when the actual package only cost about $3 to ship you are actually paying over 11 for a below standard card which is not a good deal. I will not purchase from here again and don't recommended either. A place that has no integrity doesn't deserve any type of business. I'm surprised they are linked to amazon.com.

I researched this item and I can take over 1600 photos and keep them on this one sd card. For me that is the best news ever. We go to Disney alot with my grandson and the memories preserved on this little sd card insure that even his grandchildren will enjot the experience. Thanks
