I must admit that I feel a bit strange taking my iPod with me in the shower. However, this device is much better than any other alternative. Its clamshell design allows you to keep your player dry and safe inside. It has some basic control buttons to allow you to change tracks or pause without opening the case and exposing your iPod.
Like others, I have found that the unit cuts in and out sometimes - especially when the batteries are low. However, if you turn down the volume a bit, the skipping goes away. The sound quality is ok - but you are in a shower not a concert hall!
When I purchased it, I didn't realize how useful it would be to have a portable and water-resistant set of iPod speakers. It is great for the beach (clamshell keeps sand out) and good for outdoors since it won't be destroyed if it suddenly starts to rain. Overall, I'm happy with this device, warts and all.

My two kids now shower happily with the iPod shower speaker. They love it and have been using it every day since Christmas. The speaker does a brilliant job of keeping the iPod dry and plays very nicely. I am really glad I found this!

Not worth the price. I just recieved the product and tested it to make sure it worked before xmas, and the sound is distorted, and it cuts in and out. I'm returning it.

Just bought the Shower Dock for my teenage sons who insisted on bringing their Ihome Ipod dock into the bathroom to listen to music while they showered. Sometimes they would perch it on the sink ledge and we all know that's not too bright. That's why I bought the shower dock. It skips, so we might return and try another one to see if it's that particular one or an item flaw. The skipping is annoying, but it's better than electrocution.
