4 out of 5 stars Great For Home Use!   March 25, 2008
Judy A. Christeson (Missouri)
My recently purchased Aurora AS662C model shredder is everything to my expectations. It accepts paper & credit cards as advertised. I would reccommend this model to anyone wanting a shredder for their home office.

1 out of 5 stars Shedder broke in 45 days with normal use   March 10, 2008

I would recommend buying any shredder from a local store so that you can return it (without having to pay for return shipping). My experience is typical of many people buying a shredder, of any brand. They just don't seem to be a reliably built, at least in this price range.

1 out of 5 stars Lasted 6 Months   February 27, 2008
Dee (New Jersey)
I purchased this shredder in August, 2007. I rarely used it...maybe 2 or 3 times a month and only for 1 or 2 sheets of paper at a time. Now it's totally dead. It's still under warranty for another 6 months, but I don't want to box it up & pay for shipping a replacement. Maybe, this was just a defective one, but I rather buy a different brand now.

1 out of 5 stars Terrible Shredder   February 13, 2008
D. L. Lederman (Iowa USA)
I feel like the money I spent on this shredder was shredded. It definitely does NOT live up to the "ten sheets at a time, credit card shredding, CD shredding" claim. I spent more hours unjamming this machine than shredding paper, and now it is just plain DEAD. After watching it limp through a credit card shredding, while holding my breath it won't jam again, I wouldn't DARE put a CD in it. This is why I am checking the Amazon reviews now for my THIRD shredder!!!!

1 out of 5 stars Not Happy   February 10, 2008

I purchased 5 of these for my office and they are quite a disappointment. It is very hard to get any sheet into the machine to auto start. And I suggest not trying to put the 6 sheets it struggles with 2. We are returning all 5 and will try to buy another brand. Also they are very small 15in tall and 12wide.
