After shopping for some time, it ended up with this 2 GB pack. Works great. Install was somewhat tricky. To have it recognized I ended up having to install one stick in the number one slot (the only thing that suggested which slot was number one was in my mother board instruction book) booted up; Powered down; Then installed second stick. Works great. No regrets

Good buy - Worked well in stock Acer Aspire AM1100 desktop computer. would recomend it to everyone who just needs the extra push (to get through the vista interface) or to run RAM hungry games and programs. and oh delivery was 1 day early (yay amazon)!

Memory immediately recognized with no error detected. Price was very good and delivery was on time. Computer performance showed marked improvement. (fyi, even greater improvement was gained by subsequently doing a fresh OS install to strip out two+ years of accummulated junk).
