Product Description The Showcase Touch brings dual layer protection and style to the iPod Touch. The hinged design opens bookstyle, and contoured shock absorbing layers accent the iPod's Touch's shape, giving it shock absorbing protection in its rubber layer and impact resistant crystal clear plastic. With a super low profile design, the Showcase Touch offers both a belt clip and a way to seal the clip's attachment point: a plug locks into the attachment mechanism, keeping dirt and dust out. The slimline belt clip can be mounted in four positions, and a hinged dock port protector opens partially for access to only the headphone jack or fully for additional access to the dock port and hold switch. Complete protection continues with the click through hold button protector.

Of little value August 14, 2008 B. Leach (Sherman Oaks, CA) 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
If you're thinking about shock absorption when your iPod Touch is dropped do not buy this case. You would be better off with a thick sock and four rubber bands. "Plastic and rubber," the product description says. The only rubber portion is the port protector; the rest is hard plastic. Will protect against scratches, if that's your concern. But if you drop it, you'll have a shiny, unscratched brick. Is my opinion.
Great case - keeps iPod lightweight and portable July 23, 2008 Titanost (St. Louis, MO) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have tried three different cases for the 32G iPod touch so far, and I prefer this one the most. It's lightweight and thin, so you can easily slip it in and out of your pocket. It's also more durable than leather or silicone, so it will protect your iPod from damage more effectively. Also, the belt clip is removable so you can take it off if you want to put it in your pocket or put it on if you want to wear it while exercising, etc. Lastly, it is easy to move the iPod in and out of the case if you want. I would also recommend buying a plastic screen protector along with this case, since the design is such that the screen is exposed. Combine this case with a screen protector and you shouldn't have any problems.
good product but not great. June 17, 2008 H. Juarez i had the contour showcase for my 30gb ipod and that was a great product. i have a problem with the lock on the case. it seems to slide to unlock at times and i just hope it never pops open. maybe it's just mine with that problem but who knows.
Best I've found April 8, 2008 Don W. Ward 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I first bought a Contour case for my ipod 5th gen and loved it. When I bought the itouch 32 (a real investment) I searched for a the matching Contour case The case fits snugly around the ipod without interfering with any of the controls and is plenty sturdy enough to protect the ipod from a fall -- as I learned from experience -- and is small enough as to not really increase the size of the ipod. I insert my ipods in a cradle in the car so a silicon case would not work. With the contour, I just pop it out of the case and slip it into the cradle. Couldn't be easier. You can't own an ipod without a case. A very snug silicon case might work well if you never need to remove the ipod, but if you need to frequently remove the ipod from a case, you won't be disappointed with the Contour case.
