I bought this product about 7 months ago to replace the original cord on my HP Pavillion 9000. I hadn't really had any problems out of it until the other day, when the battery pack on it (the 'brick') began sparking. I unplugged the cord to find that the connection had melted the plastic on the outside of the pack. Thank God I caught this when I did. This is a SERIOUS HAZARD, and I'm considering legal action against the company. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
