| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Polar S625X is like having a performance lab with you on every workout. All the heart rate, running and cycling data you will ever need is available right on your wrist. The S625X delivers continuous running speed without relying on where satellites are positioned. With the optional cycling and power sensors and enhanced training tools like the Polar OwnOptimizer recovery test, plus altitude and ascent for route profile, the Polar S625X lets you cross train and put the power of information to work for you. The Polar S625X is a combine heart rate monitor and running speed and distance device. It comes with the S-1 foot pod- Polar's footpod technology is highly accurate-- It is not a pedometer, it does not count steps, nor does it rely on an equal stride length. The Polar footpod measures 360 degree, 3-D, forces of inertia (speed, magnitude, impact, direction etc). These sensitive accelerometers then translate these measurements in to realtime speed and distance-- with approximately 95-97% accuracy. For cyclists, the Polar S625X Running Computer is fully compatible with all Polar cycling sensors (speed, distance, cadence and power output). Base your training on heart rate, speed, cadence, altitude and optional power output information. The Complete Cycling System consists of a Bike Mount Set, Speed and Cadence Sensors and an optional Power Output Sensor Set.
