Product Description The iPod Compatible 3.5mm to Dock Connector Audio Cable allows you to play music from your iPod through your home or car stereo, computer, or notebook. The dock connector sends line level audio out from your iPod, providing better sound quality then when using the headphone jack. The dock connector also allows you to control the volume of your iPod through your stereo or computer instead of having to adjust the volume on the iPod. This cable works with all iPods with a dock connector, and the lightweight construction makes it easy to take it anywhere you go.

Good stuff. October 18, 2008 B. D. Imsland (Seattle, WA USA) Very fast shipping. As described. Not the best quality but i wasn't expecting much for the price.
Warning*** Does not work with Ipod Touch 2g (second generation) October 10, 2008 kwalb (Arvada, CO USA) I guess Apple has changed the pin outs of the 2g Ipod touch. This connector will not work if you own one.
Not for iPhone June 21, 2008 Carlgo (Carmel Valley, CA) I didn't read closely enough, mesmerized as I was by the low, low price and my new aux input that I installed. I planned on using my iPhone to see if this connection would sound better than using a jack from the phone's antenna to the aux. Just an experiment. But, I couldn't do that because it doesn't work with the phone, just the iPods it says it works on. So, a $4.99 tax for not reading the label.
Only comes through in mono! June 18, 2008 2 Baby Boys (Pittsburgh, PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for use with my Nano (3rd-gen). I chose this item over Cable-to-Go's offering because of the better price. Construction isn't bad, a little on the cheap side. But it doesn't work right with my Sony car stereo; only the right channel gets any sound. Too cheap to even bother returning, but still a big disappointment.
Great! until it stops working. June 6, 2008 D. Tijerina (San Antonio, Texas United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had this wire in my car for about 4 or 5 months and just the other day i picked up my ipod to change the track and something must had come loose because now only the right channel comes through the stereo. Other than that, it was a great product while it lasted.
