5 out of 5 stars Small and compact.   November 4, 2006

I'm still in awe of this bag. I'm able to get a digital SLR with lens, a second lens, flash, extra batteries and extra Flash cards all within such a small little pack.

This bag WILL NOT have enough room for larger telephoto lenses though -- it's barely big enough to carry my Sigma wide angle lens without making me feel a bit "omigod I'm going to break it" uncomfortable.

There's also a nifty waterproof cover that is permanently attached to the front bottom pocket that let's you quickly flip out and cover the bag in cases of spontaneous rain storms.

One caveat on the construction: The connection point between the strap and the bag is incredible flimsy and very easily separates. To remedy this situation, I just replaced that clip with a more permanent one (in my case a metal key ring). This is the only problem that I see and I've been carrying this bag around daily for over a year.

5 out of 5 stars Great Camera Bag for mid-range needs   March 27, 2005

I needed a camera bag to hold my Canon Powershot G6, lens adapter, teleconverter, external flash, filters, power cords, memory cards, extra battery, battery charger, remote control, lens cleaning kit, and card reader. However, I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This bag is perfect. It fits all the above. It has a secure ziplock compartment that also has a flapover design with a quick snaplock - this allows you to just snaplock it to keep all your gear inside while you move from one spot to the next without having to zip it all up. The zipper compartment on the flapover is perfect for your memory cards and extra battery -it provides for quick changes. The main inside compartment holds the camera , lens and flash nicely plus several filters. The additional inside compartments provide compartments to store all the rest of the gear. In addition, the bag has loops to attach it to your belt and use it as a beltbag and an attached waterproof cover that is great for inclement weather transport. The padding is high quality and protects the gear very nicely.

This is perfect for my Canon PS S3IS and its add ons. This little bag carries my S3 with a Teleconverter (Sony VCL-DH1758), a Wide Angle Converter (Raynox DCR6600) a 52mm lens adapter with a UV filter/protector attached to it, a 52mm polarizer, a 72mm polarizer, 4 spare batteries, two SD cards (it can take more), my cleaning kit (Bushnell cleaning kit: microfiber cloth, brush and cleaning liquid) and a mini tripod. It came with two adjustable internal dividers (I use one). It all weights approximately 4.5 lbs (bag and all items included) and there are a few pockets here and there where I can add a few more small items. The bag has a protective cover that slips out of a pocket to protect everything from the weather, if needed. The bag appears to be built with excellent materials. It's a nice looking bag (I got the black) and it comes with an adjustable padded shoulder strap (designed to comfortably carry the bag opposite from the shoulder it's hanging from). I totally recommend it.

The item was exactly as described. If you are looking for a small, light weight camera bag (something to carry just your camera, and one or two lens) this is your bag. The bag is very well designed to protect you camera and comes with plenty of pockets to stash lens covers, instruction manuels, ect. For me, it is the perfect bag for a day trip. Highly recommended.

I bought this camera bag to hold my 35mm SLR since my old camera bag was full of mold after I went on vacation to waterfalls last year. This camera bag was said to be all weather. I went to Jamaica and was around all kinds of waterfalls and humid jungles and there is no mold. So it certainly seems to be a good product. It is just the right size for an SLR, I would not recommend it if you have multilple lenses or large lenses. Lowepro has bigger sizes but make sure you pay attention to the measurments because my husband just bought a larger Lowepro bag for our new digital SLR and it was huge.
