Six of these handsome steak knives from R.H. Forschner by Victorinox come tucked in this press-fit storage box. Each shows a black nylon handle in traditional triple-rivet styling, and a five-inch, serrated blade stamped out of high-carbon, no-stain steel that is hand-finished in Switzerland. Unlike many stamped knives, these have a full tang for superior strength and balance, and the sharp edge slices through a fine steak without tearing. Forschner recommends washing the knives by hand even though they're dishwasher-safe, and covers the set with a lifetime warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

This Forschner/Victorinox stuff is the best! I'm a confirmed addict. It started with the 8" chef's knife, then the 10" serrated, now the best steak knife set on the planet (for the money anyway). I think these guy's knives are the best, not just knives, but products, for the money anywhere. Unbelievable value! Try 'em, you'll like 'em.
