4 out of 5 stars Quiet sneak attack......   August 29, 2002

Few games give the feel of a true sneak attack like 'elite forces - navy seals'. The smooth graphics rendering and the realistic sounds of the weaponry add to the power of play. Simple to play. Easy to understand the controls. Prepare to be sent through North Korea, Iraq, and Bosnia ...battle with tanks and helicopters and use ear splitting explosives to get through the 10 massive levels of gameplay. Grab a copy of this as soon as you can and get into the action of this high quality value-priced game.

3 out of 5 stars A 3rd rate game...   January 13, 2003

This game is just not all that good when compared to the other special forces type FPS like SOF I & II, and the Delta Force series.

2 out of 5 stars This game REEKS   September 25, 2003

Sure, it's cheap and you get to kill stuff. But, the game is hardly worth the money paid for it. Buy a bootleg copy for 99 Cents. It's worth about that. Sorry graphics, Sorry AI, It's only redeeming quality is that you get to kill stuff, after one time through, it's worthless.

I completed this game in less than six hours. The AI is nearly non-existent, but for $4, it kept me moderately entertained for three nights. One very generous star.

1 out of 5 stars pretty darn bad   November 15, 2003

Do you like shooting games where you can stand right in front of a bad guy, point your crosshairs at him, fire your weapon, and not him him? How about shooting games where you can only get 5 guns and very little ammunition? Games with only 3 levels? Games where you get attacked by enemy vehicles that cannot be destroyed? If you answered 'yes' to all of these, then you will absolutely LOVE this game.

"Elite Forces: Navy Seals" is a really bad game. I understand that it is also a very cheap game, so I can forgive the lack of weapon variety, pitiful number of levels, and abscence of a multiplayer mode. But the fact that you seem to miss the bad guys most of the time when you shoot at them, even if you are standing right next to them ... that's just too annoying. You have to shoot your enemies a million times to kill them. This sucks because you don't start out with a lot of ammo and you don't get any opportunities to replenish your supply (except for the AK47 ammo). I hope that they don't send the real Navy Seals into battle with weapons this innacurate and with this little ammunition.

To the game's credit, it has very good graphics. Also, it is inexpensive (my main reason for buying it). And, of course, any game that lets you kill evil foreigners has at least a small amount of fun in it.
