Tough Truth. August 4, 2007 Jeanne (Mahomet, IL) I like the music and the lyrics. I'm 45, a retired officer, and a veteran of Deserts Shield and Storm. These guys tell it like it is. It's tough to hear sometimes, but real truth. Mostly Hip Hip Rap, with some latin. I was disappointed with the latin pieces frankly. Too much use of the "f" word. I hear you guys, if you have too use the word once or twice maybe, but it's like "F" was the only english word I could clearly understand. So now I skip over those tracks, muy malo y no es necesario. I hope there's a volume II and III coming. I think this was a great project. Definately some room to expand.
Aim to inspire! April 14, 2007 C. Gilfillan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This CD is inspirational, passionate, funky, informative and most importantly real. From the slogan "It's not about politics, it's about music", to the bold CD cover, to the beats, to the lyrics, this CD has created a new name for hip hop. It is about the real world in which we exist today, a world in a war. The artists deserve a voice and with this CD they are fortunate enough to have the great opportunity to inform the American people about their trials and tribulations within the armed forces. A must have!
Great tribute! April 13, 2007 Julie M. Lawrence 1 out of 1 found this review helpful

Our Talented Troops April 13, 2007 Lisa Black (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Supporting our troops isn't just about putting a yellow ribbon on your door or a magnet on your vehicle. Our troops aren't only brave... They are talented, intelligent, eloquent, passionate and compassionate. Nothing else like this has ever really been done, and I can't think of a better way to showcase, and pay tribute to, the brave men and women in the armed forces. It was said before me, and it will be said again, "This is truly supporting our troops."
Speaks from the Heart April 12, 2007 Steve Jones (New York) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Finally we hear from the soldiers who are actually over there fighting and not the politicians. This is a great Hip Hop CD that should be in every person's CD player across the nation...if they support the war or not. This is truly supporting the troops.
