The other reviewer wasn't kidding - the grammar and puncutation are HORRIBLE!
I can not recommend this book to anyone. Its embarrassing that it says, "Navy" on the cover.

I am interested in this topic and was looking for a book on the subject but I don't think I'll be buying this one. I browsed the sample pages and found them to be written with grammar so poor as to be almost incomprehensible. Even the cover has incorrect grammar and misspellings: "Finally (missing a comma here) a How-To guide wrote (should be "written" not "wrote") specifically for the Deckplate Sailors in lamen (should be spelled "layman's") terms". I don't think I want to trust my career to someone so obviously unqualified to write a book. If the author is too lazy to have even the cover's single sentence proofread and written correctly, what can the content be like?
